At a young age I kept myself busy decorating my room, doing crafts and decorating family events.. I enjoyed coordinating colours, flowers and various design projects. Home decor and design was always a strong influence in my life
Majoring in marketing/advertising, I completed a web design diploma and there after I followed my passion for flowers and took a floral design course. I was fortunate to train with Eric Tai an influential designer. I am inspired by his contemporary designs along with the infamous work of Preston Bailey known as the designer of the “stars”
What started off by making hand-made flower boutonnieres, floral arrangements and backdrops has now grown into Khazana Creations. It was built on a love of decorating, a passion for design and making all things beautiful. We are committed to being there from the time you get engaged to the very last dance, making all the celebrations of your life memorable..
Mandy
As a young girl I had a great passion for decorating; starting with my parent’s home I explored painting techniques and transformed their home with the use of the colour. This sparked the need to be creative. Working in the financial world, didn’t give me the gratification I was searching for. Looking for a change, I followed my dream and enrolled in an interior design course and floral design and formally trained with top Toronto designers.
In 2004 my sister and I opened Khazana Creations, creating backdrops, flower arrangements, centre pieces for clients part-time. As the work was noticed, our business grew and I took a hold of my dream and went fill force, never looking back.
Taking my skills as a designer I worked as an on-site coordinator with Payal Banquet Halls, working with clients planning their events from start to finish including decorating, logistics, sourcing, and concept design learning the ins and outs of the business on a grand scale.
In 2009 Khazana creations soared to new heights successfully completing 100 weddings and partnering up with the cities best vendors to bring our clients the best that they deserve. I travel the world to be inspired by colours, cultures, trends and design, keeping our leading edge.
We look forward to designing weddings and expanding our services in the years to come.
