The venue is set, you’ve got your outfits but what about flowers?
Of all the flowers at your wedding none will be more important than the flowers that you carry in your bouquet. Not only are the flowers in your bridal bouquets a central feature of your wedding outfit, but they also carry with them a very special and personal message. In Victorian times, the flowers in a bride’s bouquet carried messages, the flowers were chosen based on the special meaning of each flower i.e Roses for Love, Lilies a favorite in expressing purity and innocence.
Another great way to enhance the flowers you have chosen is by adding little bit of foliage. Common foliage used is Salal or Ruscus.
For a contemporary look you can add aspidistra leaves and steel grass. Adding light reflecting crystals, rhinestones and pearls to any fresh flower bouquet is beautiful way to accent the flowers while adding some glamour. Your bouquet is as important of an accessory as your jewelery, give it some thought and have fun choosing the flowers for your bouquet .
